FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Park-McCullough House Hires New Executive Director

The Park-McCullough House Association, one of the region’s oldest, and most important historic houses and cultural centers, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has hired Christopher Oldham as its new Executive Director.

This hire represents the first full time employee leading the organization in almost 9 years. During that period of careful re-organization, all aspects of day-to-day operations at P-M were managed by its Board of Directors, with some part time staff. Oldham will assume his responsibilities on Sept 16th 2019.

Allen McCullough, current President of the Board—and great, great grandson of Trenor Park, who built the house in 1865—said, “Our Board has been outstanding through the past decade, dedicated to caring for its buildings, grounds and collections, which has allowed us to turn the organization around. Recently, we realized that we were finally in a position to look for new leadership. That Chris Oldham was interested and available was a stroke of luck for Park-McCullough. With his marketing and managerial skills and deep local knowledge, he is the ideal leader for the Association and we are excited about Chris’s vision of growing the house as a cultural hub.”

The current Board is comprised of Alyssa Barry, Mary Feidner, Brandy Lesser, Chris Macksey, Allen McCullough and Randolyn Zinn. Zinn added, “Our former Board merits mention too: Kiki Traver, Judith Frangos, Sandra Mangsen and Stacey New for their many contributions.”
