Our Latest, July 2024

JULY 2024, E-NEWSLETTER UPDATE

It feels like the season has just begun and yet so many fantastic events have transpired, seasonal series are well underway, and a small handful of significant milestones have been achieved in support of our mission.

It's been truly a pleasure to have you, whether for an exhibition opening, social gathering, theater, music, yoga, croquet... the list goes on! We're approaching the halfway mark, and we've got so much more to offer. Please scroll down to peruse a few of our upcoming events. The next few weeks are looking grand! A special invite goes out to our Members who we hope will join us on the 21st for our Annual Meeting; we look forward to engaging you in enlightening conversation. Not yet a member? We need you! BECOME A MEMBER HERE.

We've broadened our understanding of our collection and collections standards thanks to visits from antiques experts and professionals in the field of conservation. We continue to develop our self-guided tour option to appeal to wider audiences (we'll be launching a pilot audio tour in late July!). A dynamic volunteer-based Collections Committee has been ensconced in archives... and in so many other tasks, it's almost hard to keep track of their progress! Youth is making its way back into programming, operations, and volunteerism, and we couldn't be happier than to be engaging new perspectives and fresh takes on research and development.

Thank you for enjoying the Park-McCullough, Historic Governor's Mansion, the beautiful property on which it sits, and your friends and neighbors. You are gathering together for history, the arts, leisure, and recreation and we're so glad it's with us!
