Park-McCullough Celebrates a New Museum Director
/The Board of Trustees at the Park-McCullough House Association, Inc. would like to share the permanent hire of Polly Raine as Museum Director for the organization. Polly was hired as Interim Operations Manager in June 2023 to oversee the operations of the Park-McCullough, Historic Governor's Mansion.
Over the last several months, Polly has become an integral part of the Park-McCullough family and community. She has worked closely with the Board of Trustees and the organization’s volunteers, diving into guest services, communications, membership, and programming. She has provided value to both our visitors and the community. Because of her outstanding contributions, the Board of Trustees has promoted Polly to the position of Museum Director. In this position, she will work with the board to define our strategy as we set a path for the next five years. She will oversee our house museum and collections, educational offerings, communications and marketing strategy, membership program, and community relationships.
Board president Kelly Clarke Harrington offers her outlook on the promotion, “Polly has begun to share the kind of thoughtful insights and inspiring ideas that create both enthusiasm and momentum. We can’t wait to see where the next year takes us. Her passion for the mission of our organization and its place in the community will lead us in shaping the future of the Park-McCullough."
The community will have an opportunity to meet Polly at the upcoming Santa in the Stable event on Saturday, December 16, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The program includes time with Santa and Mrs. Claus, cookie decorating, holiday crafts, hot cocoa, and caroling. This event is free and open to the public, thanks to our sponsor The Bank of Bennington.
