"Park-McCullough House board seeks increased Village payment"

Thank you to the Bennington Banner for coverage of the Board of Trustees’ request for increased dollars through Village appropriations. Mark Rondeau covered the story:

NORTH BENNINGTON — Representatives of the Park-McCullough, Historic Governor’s Mansion asked the Village Trustees for a $3,500 increase in the amount the town puts in its budget for the organization.

"We haven’t asked for an increase in many, many years," said Board Member David Hart. "You currently fund this at $1,500 a year, which we are very grateful for, and we’re asking for an increase to $5,000.”

The amount would be included under the Payments to Other Organizations section of the Village budget voted upon by residents at the annual town meeting. Read more HERE!
