Living Room Theatre (LRT) presents new and classic plays driven by innovative direction, canny design and great acting. Audiences share in a unique theatrical intimacy that draws each observer into a more personal relationship with the play.
Zinn’s script Her Name Means Memory was explored this past January at Bennington College after which various revisions were read in NYC. The stellar cast includes new and returning actors including Anne Bates, Janis Young, Monique Vukovic, Valeri Mudek, Oliver Wadsworth, Allen McCullough, Xingrong Chen, Eliza Hill, and Susannah Wilson. LRT is also thrilled to work with the renowned costume designer Cynthia Flynt.
“Trojan Women is an ongoing lamentation, but in Her Name Means Memory Hecuba won’t give up hope; in every scene she fights to save herself, her women and her family until only one strategy is left to her – a strategy that has succeeded in bringing us to the theatre tonight 2,430 years later.” ~Writer & Director Randolyn Zinn
As Stella Adler said: "The word 'theatre' comes from the Greek, meaning the 'seeing place,' where people come to see the truth about life." LRT can't wait to see you at the LRT swimming pool as you watch from above like gods and goddesses!
